Decorated overall with floral swags and simulated ebony and boxwood banding and crossbanded in tulipwood, the shaped three-quarter gallery centred with an oval medallion with a portrait of a lady flanked by peacock feathers and flowers, above a pair of doors decorated with vases of flowers, flanked by four drawers to either side above a hinged green baize writing surface and a frieze drawer, on square tapering legs, stamped 6048, restorations, the painting on the legs probably later
