emblematic of Spring and Autumn, modelled by James Hadley, both wearing classical robes, Spring holds a dove and stands beside a harp, Autumn stands by a basket of grapes, enriched in Raphaelesque colours and flesh tones, supported by socle bases, sepia and green marks, date numbers for 1866 (some damages and restoration) -- 48cm. high
