Heyde Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs
an extremely rare set comprising nine scenes depicting the Brothers Grimm fairy tale in Kinder und Hausmärchen, 1812-15, Scene I - the Wicked Queen at her magic mirror in a Doric colanaded alcove with hunter figure, Scene II - the young Snow White in the forest with the hunter and deer, Scene III - seven small beds with Snow White in one and three inquisitive dwarfs, Scene IV - the dwarfs cleaning the house, tinplate room setting with stove and busy dwarfs, Scene V - the dwarfs at the dinner table with separate figure of Snow White, Scene VI - the dwarfs off to work with lanterns, Scene VII - Snow White at the window of the cottage (wooden) with the Wicked Queen in three different disguises, Scene VIII - Snow White in her coffin with four pallbearers and three dwarfs carrying torches, and Scene IX - the Prince arriving to save the day, five extra trees, with a contempoary wooden box with sliding lid (F-E, mainly G, some damage, some paint chipping)
