The foliate engraved corniche case with enamel panels to the sides and rear door, the side panels polychrome decorated with figures of falconers in Renaissance costume against a black ground, the rear panel painted in white with a tazza on dolphin supports, the dial with gilt Roman chapter ring with Arabic five minutes, with retailer's signature to the centre GOLAY, LERISCHE & FILS 2 RUE DE LA PAIX PARIS, within a frame of foliate scrolls, silvered lever platform to the cut bimetallic balance, strike/repeat on gong to the backplate numbered 723
