The oval variant case with Corinthian columns and ripple cornices, glazed D-end side panels, the white enamel Arabic dial with retailer's signature BAILEY, BANKS & BIDDLE PHILADELPHIA, blued hands, with alarm ring below, silvered lever platform to the cut bimetallic balance, two-position sonnerie adjustment lever to underside engraved Ours (sic) and Quarters/Silent, strike/repeat/alarm on two gongs to the backplate
