The case with fluted three-quarter columns to the angles flanking arched panels outlined with green paste gem set mounts, the emerald green side panels with borders of gilt-heightened leafy ornament, conforming decoration to the dial with individual Arabic chapters, alarm ring below, gilt hands, silvered lever platform to the cut bimetallic balance, strike/repeat/alarm on gong to the backplate numbered 55 and engraved with Japanese characters
