The anglaise style case with fluted angles and Sèvres style painted porcelain panels to the sides and rear door, each depicting period harbour scenes and within jewelled and gilt-heightened borders, the Roman dial painted with nautical trophies to the centre and a harbour scene below, blued moon hands, the silvered lever platform with bimetallic balance and numbered 3057, probably by Joseph Soldano, strike/repeat on gong to the backplate numbered 4717
