The drum-shaped case with floral cresting, on waisted supports to the shaped oval base, mounted with figures of a man and woman in 18th century costume carrying a rake and a scythe respectively, with rustic trophy mount to the front and on toupie feet, the pendulum modelled as a child on a swing, the white enamel Roman dial with steel moon hands and recessed centre with visible movement, the twin barrel movement with countwheel strike on bell; with ebonised plinth
