The case with cream porcelain urn surmount painted with flowers and with pineapple finial, lion mask and foliate mounts to the sides, painted porcelain panels below the dial and to the base depicting respectively a couple in 18th century costume and a house by a river, the porcelain dial with Roman chapter ring showing Cupid to the centre and retailer's signature SIR JOHN BENNETT LTD, the twin barrel movement with strike on gong, stamped on the backplate for AD MOUGIN
