The arched case surmounted by the figure of a lady in classical robes, her hair caught in a floral chignon, holding a cornucopia issuing flowers and with her foot resting on a shell, the other side with sphere banded with zodiacal symbols and supported by a nimbus, the case with flowers and cherubs riding swan chariots, on stepped rectangular plinth base with anthemion gallery and panel showing cavorting amorini to the front, on palmette scroll feet, the Roman chapter ring within a bezel cast with fruits and rocaille, with engine-turned centre and steel moon hands, the twin barrel movement with silk suspension and countwheel strike on bell, torso to figure loose
