The case with brass handle to the breakarch top, arched fishscale sound frets to the sides, ripple moulded border to the base, on brass ball feet (one lacking), the white painted Roman dial with strike/silent lever above XII, the twin chain fusee movement with anchor escapement and strike on bell, pull trip repeat, with pendulum holdfast to the backplate signed Wm. Evill BATH
