the hood with brass-capped and dentil-carved swan-neck pediment centred by a turned urn finial on leaf carved stand, blind fret panels below, with brass-capped fluted columns, blind fret carving above the wavy arch trunk door and below the fluted three-quarter pilasters, with brickwork ornament to the angles of the plinth centred by a quatrefoil panel, on ogee bracket feet, the brass dial with (repainted) rolling moon in the arch, foliate engravingto the spandrels and centre, signed Mullinex Derby and with subsidiary seconds ring, the four pillar rack striking movement with anchor escapement, replaced seatboard, restorations
