signed on the horizontal plate Troughton & Simms, London, the telescope with rack and pinion focusing, dust cap and four cross-wire adjusters, with bubble level (cracked), raised on two supports with clamp, the limb with axis supported by twin A frames, with vertical half-circle divided in two quadrants, with silvered scale and vernier, the horizontal plate with level and cross-bubble, chamfered silvered horizontal circle with tangent-screw fine adjustment and clamp, raised on a four-screw tripod attachment, with accessories, in the original fitted mahogany case -- 10½in. (26.6cm.) wide
