signed on the stand E. Leitz Wetzlar, No. 51953, with rack and pinion coarse and micrometer fine focusing, triple nose-piece, circular stage, sub-stage condenser with iris diaphragm and plano-concave mirror, with a range of accessories including a micrometer stage attachment in case, and three objectives including a Leitz 2 oil immersion, all contained in the original mahogany carrying case with brass handle -- 16in. (40.6cm.) high
