Ambrus was commisioned to illustrate Sleeping Beauty II. It was to be a sequel to the well-known story indicating how after the fairy-tale marriage, the Princess soon learnt the tedium of court life. Ambrus portrays her boredom and the rather amusing method she uses to keep herself awake during her royal duties. This project was not published.
