With plain curved double-edged blade, waisted two-piece wooden hilt covered at the sides and round the top with a silver band and probably originally set with silver rosettes, and wooden scabbard entirely covered in silver struck on the back near the suspension-loop with an indistinct tugra mark, the surface partly engraved and nielloed, and chased with designs of floral arabesques and two panels of callography, the pierced chape with spirally fluted finial
