The sharply-tapering double-edged blade of flattened diamond section, the ricasso struck twice with a maker's mark, St. George and the Dragon, the iron hilt comprising long flat quillons vertically recurved at the ends, arms linked to the knuckle-guard on the outside by curved bars, heart-shaped pommel with prominent button, silvered and decorated with punched foliage throughout, and original wire-bound wooden grip
