Mid-18th Century
With slender steel bow struck with a mark and retained by its original cords (string missing), original green woollen pom-poms (one missing), walnut full stock inlaid on each side with two groups of four light and dark horn roundels, shoulder stock of rifle type sparsely carved with rococo foliage and with cheek-piece inlaid with a light and horn star, horn bolt-channel, the cover to the bolt-channel with horn sights, iron mounts comprising butt-plate and spur trigger-guard, iron loop and nut, and set trigger
