A Pair Of Model Field Guns
Late 17th Century
Each with multi-staged tapering bronze barrel with stepped mouldings and lifting handles in the form of stylised sea-horses, the cascatels cast with acanthus foliage in relief, the buttons each in the form of a bud, stamped on the underside of each first reinforce with the letters 'V L M T E': on their original iron-mounted painted wooden carriages with iron-shod cambered spoked wheels (minor parts missing)
