Rebuilt from flintlock, with browned twist sighted barrels, engraved case-hardened tang, case-hardened scroll engraved locks signed 'Sorby' (right hammer missing, left hammer incomplete), figured walnut half-stock, chequered grip, engraved blued iron mounts, silver escutcheon, and brass-tipped ramrod (incomplete), Birmingham proof marks

Rebuilt by Charles Sorby, recorded in Wakefield, Yorkshire, 1840-42
