A 22-Bore Dutch Flintlock Holster Pistol
Circa 1720
With three-stage barrel with applied brass moulding on the central section, the faceted breech with three applied longitudinal brass straps each with crimped borders, the central strap extended over the barrel tang, the brass fore-sight integral with the applied engraved brass sighted rib, bevelled brass lock engraved with a marked trophy and with stepped tail, moulded lightly carved figured walnut full stock (butt cracked, fore-end tip repaired), cast and chased brass mounts including pierced side-plate involving two griffins, pierced escutcheon with coronet above, and faceted spurred pommel, and later fore-end cap and ramrod
