With swamped twist octagonal sighted barrels, patent breeches each with gold line, gold-lined maker's stamp and touch-hole, signed flat border engraved detented locks each with engraved stepped tail (one cock replaced), safety-catch, roller, and raised pan, figured walnut full stocks (each cracked and chipped), engraved iron mounts including spur trigger-guards each with pineapple finial, chequered butts apart from a plain strip on each side, set triggers, and horn-tipped ramrods (one replaced, the pistols refinished overall): in relined and refitted mahogany case, probably original, with some accessories, London proof marks
