gouache heightened with gold on paper, in a screened courtyard by a pavillion, a lady greets a noble and his companion who sit with two attendants, geese graze at lower right, further buildings visible beyond, white and gold meandering vine border on navy blue ground, pink speckled leaf, mounted, framed and glazed, (one area of flaking, tear across middle), Guler, 1840-50 - 11½ x 9in.
