painted with a cartouche of three figures seated on a fenced terrace before a screen playing a game of go, an attendant and deer standing to one side, all above a panel of calligraphic inscriptions -- 11¾in. (29.8cms) x 8¾in. (22cms), dated 4th year of the Wanli era (1577), (firing spots).
