WIMBLEDON 1921-22 -- A photograph album, oblong 4°, containing 56 black and white photographs mounted on 30 leaves, each photograph with caption below, two images showing the new site of the All England Croquet and Lawn Tennis Club at Wimbledon Park Road (later Church Road), one image showing an aerial view of the Club under construction, 22 images showing the recently completed Club buildings and grounds, 16 postcards of 1920's tennis celebrities, 10 images showing championship matches in play, 3 images showing the crowd, one portrait photograph of Commander Hillyard (Club Secretary), another showing the Club Committee, 2 images blind-stamped in bottom right hand corner "E. Norton Collins, South Norwood," one image blind-stamped "G. Marshall-Smith, Finsbury Park," the majority of the cardboard leaves blind-stamped in bottom right hand corner "E. Trim, Wimbledon," contemporary half reversed calf, with 2 further images loosely inserted at end, 10 x 13.5in.
