BERLIN 1936 -- A visitor's album from the German Minister for Sports' residence "Haus Rupenhorn," 4°, containing over 700 signatures on 67 pages obtained during the Berlin Games between 8 July to 16 August 1936. Those who have signed the album are members of the International Olympic Committee, various German government officials involved with the Games, International Ambassadors and Diplomats, Olympic Jury members, individual sports committee members, participating athletes and leading German artists, writers and musicians of the period, signatures include: Comte Henry de Baillet Latour, the Marquis de Polignac, Dr. I. H. Schmidt, Lord Burghley, William May Garland, Lord Aberdare and Carl Diem, contemporary brown morocco, the upper cover stamped in gilt "Olympia 1936 - Haus Rupenhorn."
