Lot Essay

The collection features examples of the major models (some boxed) made for or sold by Ilford Ltd from 1902 to 1968 together with some duplicates and variants. The collection includes the well-known Witness camera no. 5175 with a Dallmeyer Super-Six Anastigmat lens no. 381692, in maker's box (c.1946); KI Monobar technical camera outfit (c.1958) comprising a 35mm. Monorail camera with bellows, a Schneider Super-Angulon f/8 65mm. lens no. 5443010 in a Synchro-Compur shutter, two magazine backs and spare panels, in amker's fitted leather case; the Ilford magazine hand camera (1902).
