A good George III engraved teapot,
of oval cylindrical form with a straight spout and domed cover surmounted by an ivory finial, the body engraved with an upper broad frieze of foliate scrolls on a raised ground and two scroll cartouches, one depicting a shepherd and the other a shepherdess, and a lower narrow frieze of foliage and boy's masks on a rayed ground, initialled, by John Emes, 1797, 16.5oz.
