A Chinese blue and white oval tureen and cover
with peony spray finial and moulded mask handles, painted with continuous scenes of shop fronts and figures carrying baskets along paths in rocky, tree strewn landscapes, all within borders of geometric pattern bands -- 12¼in. (31cms) wide, 18th century, (cracked, handles damaged, finial chipped).
