Further details
These toys were given to the vendor's grandfather in 1927; they were originally bought for an invalid boy born in 1907. His father acquired them from a village shop in Great Bentley between 1910 and 1915 and they were hidden in games of hide and seek for the boy to find; sadly he died in 1920.
