The lyre case with radiant mask cresting and foliate cast swags, with beaded and stiff leaf mounts, with conforming ornament to the spreading oval base with toupie feet, the off-white enamel Arabic dial painted with floral swags, pierced gilt-metal criss-cross hands and signed Planchon au Palais Royal, the twin barrel movement with countwheel strike on bell, stamped on the backplate PLANCHON PALAIS ROYAL and 3616 -- 17½in. (44.5cm.) high; and the pair of three-light candelabra en suite modelled as bouquets issuing from vases -- 17in. (43cm.) high
