A Regency rosewood striking bracket clock, circa 1830
The brass lined arched case with fielded panel to the front and arched fishscale sound frets to the sides, on moulded rectangular base with bun feet, white painted Roman dial with steel moon hands, signed Grohe Wigmore Street LONDON, the twin gut fusee movement with anchor escapement and strike on bell, pull trip repeat, with repeat signature to the backplate with repeat signature -- 13½in. (34.5cm.) high
