The case with pagoda top hood with ball and spire finials, outset columns, breakarch trunk door with chinoiserie pagoda scenes and a galleon below, stepped plinth with chinoiserie characters, the white dial painted with gilt spandrels, with subsidiary seconds ring to the centre, alarm disc, signed Underwood London, strike/silent ring in the arch, the five pillar rack striking movement with anchor escapement -- 97¾in. (248.5cm.) high
