The case with swan neck pediment centred by brass ball and eagle finial, ringed baluster columns, chamfered angles flanking the square top trunk door, on plinth with bracket feet, the white dial with spandrels painted with scenes of cottages, a young dairy maid to the arch, subsidiary seconds ring and date aperture to the centre signed Kern and Co...Swan..., the four pillar rack striking movement with anchor escapement, damages -- 88½in. (225cm.) high
