A Regency mahogany and satinwood inlaid longcase clock, circa 1820
The case with flat hood (lacks top) with dentil mouldings and blind fret carved cornice, outset columns, with fluted three-quarter pilasters flanking the wavy arch trunk door, raised panel below, on block plinth with chequer inlay, the 13½in. (34cm.) square white dial with gilt floral spandrels and subsidiary seconds (distressed), re-built seat and cheek boards, the four pillar rack striking movement with anchor escapement -- 86in. (219cm.) high
