[BINDING] An unused artist's album, oblong folio (395 x 390mm.), 48 leaves, bound in 19th-century green morocco gilt by A. Giroux, Paris, decorated in gilt and blind with monogram "C.P." placed centrally on upper cover (light stains and slight scuff marks to covers), gilt inner dentelles, watered silk liners, g.e., with engraved shop label of A. Giroux & Cie. to front free endpaper and the Giroux name in gilt at foot of spine, preserved in padded box of matching green morocco with "C.P." monogram repeated on the hinged lid (the box rubbed at extremities and stained), retaining lock and key.
