The superstructure with a three-quarter gallery above a panelled locking slide opening to reveal pigeon holes, flanked to either side by three graduated drawers, above a gilt-tooled red-leather writing surface, the frieze fitted with two drawers, on end standards joined by a ring-turned reeded stretcher, on ovolu-carved bun feet, with recessed castors, the locks stamped Bramah Secure, bearing a printed paper depository label
