A Wedgwood 'Egyptian' style rosso antico inkstand
the boat shaped stand with crocodile's head prow and an eagle's head stern, with a canopic vase shaped ink stand and cover and two cylindrical wells, applied in black with pairs of wings, hieroglyphics and flower and scroll ornament, the lower section moulded with scales and applied with wings, impressed mark, circa 1810 (two covers and candle holder lacking, damages) -- 30cm. long
