A Worcester two-handled sauceboat
with lobed lips and double scroll handles, printed to the centre with swans, ducks and a crane on a stream, the exterior printed with vignettes of 'The Four Ages of Man' from engraving by Louis P. Biotard, within moulded leaf medallions, painted in a bright oriental palette with flowers, the medallions enriched in green, the lips and handles in purple, circa 1754-8 (minor wear) -- 19cm. long
