A French 19th Century gold, topaz intaglio ring,
the bezel modelled as the base of the tomb of Giuliano de Medici in the"New" sacristy in San Lorenzo, Florence, with claw-set rectangular topaz intaglio engraved with a reclining classical figure taken from one of the two sculpted originals by Michelangelo which are seated on the sarcophagus, the shoulders engraved "JULIEN DE MEDICIS".
