in the Venetian-style, the body chased overall with foliate scrollwork bands, satyr masks and griffins, a winged Venetian lion to the front and a portrait cartouche to the reverse, with lion and armorial finial, raised handles modelled as winged mermaids, on lion's paw tripod base, possibly German -- 8¾in. (22.2cm.) high
