A Victorian brass bound coromandel dressing case,
containing the following engraved silver mounted glass items:-
nine assorted boxes and jars, five assorted scent/toilet water bottles, by Thomas Weller, 1859, with a concealed jewellery drawer and a stationary wallet, the main tray lifting upwards and forwards, double hinged to allow access to a compartment and another tray containing the following fittings:- a nickel pencil/rule, six mother of pearl mounted steel items, a pair of mounted steel scissors, a mounted steel penknife, and a plated ribbon threader - the box measuring 18.5cm x 31cm x23cm, 8oz weighable silver.
