the shaded rust-red field with polychrome angular palmettes, leaves and small flowerheads around large stepped indigo medallion with bold yellow palmette pendants containing polychrome palmette cartouches enclosing similar smaller brick-red medallion with stylised radiating flowerhead centrepiece, light blue and rust spandrels similar, in shaded indigo border of polychrome flowerheads amd angular leafy vine between yellow floral stripes, slight localized wear at one side, slight loss at one end --350cm. x 244cm.(11ft.6in. x 8ft.)
