A Qajar papier mache polychrome lacquer mirro case
of rectangular form with separate cover, painted with seated princes among attendants and courtiers, the interior with a standing hunter identified as Nasrullah Bahadur Padshah Mawar al-Zaher, holding a bow and quiver of arrows, surrounded by peacocks and chained lions -- 10in. x 7¼in. (25.5cms x 18.5cms), circa 1850, signed ya Sadeq al Wa'ad', (slight restoration).
