Four lacquer panels
probably from bindings, two showing the ladies of the harem in an interior with arched windows behind, one with two men addressing the harem and the other with women in chadors, lines of naskh above and below, gold menadering vine borders; and another pair similar, one showing an interior scene with men entertained by ladies, the other a veiled lady riding through the bazaar to her wedding ceremony, Qajar Persia, the latter dated AH 1221/1806-7 AD, all framed - 25 x 17.2cm.
