A famille rose Islamic market dish
painted and gilt to the centre with a calligraphic panel within a border of birds and butterflies amongst fruit and flower sprays -- 10½in. (26.5cm.) diam, dated 1270AH; and a smaller dish with floral cartouches on a star pattern ground -- 8in. (20.3cm.) diam, (slight enamel and gilt rubbing.)
