An ark curtain
of dark brown velvet, embroidered with the Star of David in gilt thread, with the word 'Holy' in the centre, with a further embroidered inscription This curtain is donated by Yaakov Katzin for the glory of his father in the garden of the precious holy angels, the deceased, the bearer of the yoke of the congregation, Saul Katzin, may his soul be bound up with the bond of the righteous, who passed aawy 5th Kislev 5676 (1915); another ark curtain of black plush, embroidered with the following inscription This is the holy curtain from the synagogue, the merit of giving it - Mrs Zania, wife of Joseph Agamyahu, for the ascension of the soul of her mother, elder among the women, the righteous and honoured and modest Rina, who passed to her eternal resting place at Meron (?). May her soul be bound up with the bond of the righteous'; two covers tamboured in white and a waistcoat front, Syrian, early 20th century
