Grapes and a Melon in a Basket, Peaches, Berries and wild Flowers on a Bank by a Column, a Landscape beyond

We are grateful to Dr. Sam Segal for the attribution. Few paintings by the artist are known. A pair of still lifes, one signed and dated 1671, were sold at Sotheby's, 13 July 1977, lot 13, and another, signed and dated 1666, is in the Rijksmuseum, Amsterdam, no.779a (W. Bernt, The Netherlandish Painters of the Seventeenth Century, Munich, 1969, I, pl.307).
