probably painted by Jefferyes Hammet O'Neale with an eagle perched by a dead eagle in a nest in a continuous landscape below a brown-line rim, the interior with a vignette of a spire in landscape, raised anchor mark, circa 1749-52 (extensively damaged and repaired)
