A Thai bowl
painted in coloured enamels to the exterior with a band of shaped panels of seated deities alternating with further deities with animal tails, all on a black ground reserved with flames and within further borders of flowers and foliage, the interior turquoise with a central flowerheads -- 6¾in. (17cm.) diam, (some enamel and gilt rubbing.)
